Been away from the blog for a bit. Things are busy. Actually, that's a lie. Things are not busy - but they're going to be...thus, I don't want to do anything. Teaching a class next week that I'm kinda stressing about, but I can't seem to bring myself to do anything to prepare for it. Still drowning stress in Victorian sci-fi, which is working well. Finished the H.G. Well's Dover box set. The last book (chronologically) was "First Men In The Moon", which recounts the tale of Mr. Cavor and Mr. Bedford as they travel to the moon in an anti-gravity sphere. They do actually go "in" the moon, by the way (everyone asks that). For you see, the moon is hollow. That is where the moon-men live. That is where they cultivate the moon-cows. And grow their fabulous, psychedelic moon-mushrooms. I am not kidding.
Found a JP for the wedding. She sounded a little kooky. This is going to be fun.
